I'll bite - love psychedlia - definite Jefferson airplane feel
I feel like it needs some sort of more upbeat section either as a middle eight or at end for contrast

This is a great song. I love hearing things from 40 years ago that were written without influence of all the crap that came since. This is a fairly timeless song - could be a rock or country ballad.
Nice playing as well.

This is a great song - you should play in SUNO a little with it - I hear Journey in this song with additional production - really fantastic and the makings of a hit song

Thank you for that ADVICE
Tried my original with your prompt:

As a lifelong Kansan… lol…
I do love this. It is catchy and it’s a great play on words.

I love these experiments.
I generally find AI, while I'm happy with the musical creation and support, doesn't write lyrics well at all
I love this song, btw as is

I am a sucker for this kind of ambient track - a cosmic mind-blowing concept tied with interesting music

I like the attitude on this one.
I'd tone down SUNO's over-vocalizing - which is hard to control. Distracts from the message of the song - the long instrumental loses focus on the core message
-
I like this lyric... I feel like the tempo is a little slow, it would almost benefit from more of a Springsteen live-rave-up treatment - if you do SUNO would be an interesting thing to try

Where do you stand on Van Dyke Parks lyrics?

I like this song - I think it works better in a female voice -
I think adding the "you should have listened to mama" as a chorus a couple times during the song would work well
-
I really like this one - great idea for a title -
Music really fits well too
You needed to mention the neighborhood of make believe somewhere - or at least King Friday lol

Great discussion - as long as it is clearly labeled I am OK with A.I. It is a fantastic tool that has helped me see potential in a lot of old scraps of songs or view them in a different light.
-
I like the verses - they kind of serve as a bonus chorus
Curious if the echo is something you mixed in studio or is it native to the SUNO generated prompt?

“Dodging bullets from an unloaded gun” means he is doing this all to himself. He’s drinking, fooling around etc and there’s really no reason for it other than that’s what his father did.

Nice blues song - I think some very minor lyrical adjustments -
Example:
Well there’s violence in the alleys
And there’s drug deals in the street
May read better as:
And there's dealers in the street
I like the "in the moment it felt so right" hook - and the chorus is incredibly catchy . really like this one
I like the beat on this - it really drives the song. I wonder if the modern term "influencer" feels out of place in a song about ghosts? It was the only lyrics that jarred me out of my trance
I love that this is from 1981 - one of the best things about SUNO is giving life to those really old recordings -
I get an REM/Murmur kind of vibe from the original that I don't get from SUNO version - what prompts did you use for SUNO?
I agree with you on …
