  • Chris, I like this one! I can hear an AC/DC sounding guitar vibe in it. I cannot pinpoint the song, off the top of my head, but it’s cool.
  • I’m basically all over the place.

It helped inspire what I wrote this morning.

  • Who’s to say we can’t relate? 😂 JK government! The rest of it is very relatable.
  • Chris, I must have been typing while your comment came across, and I missed it. Thanks, not sure how long I’ll be back this time, but have at it, if you’d like! Glad to be back if only for a little while. I’m not a musician/lyricist like the rest of…
  • Chris, you can sing, sir! No doubt there. I am ok if I sing along but cannot sing without hearing another voice.
  • Thanks Owen! I kind of based the whole idea off of the first line. I actually thought of changing it all together and making the first line the first line of the chorus. Appreciate the ideas. I’ve lost my inspiration for this stuff, and it doesn’t c…
  • Metallica meets Marty Robbins. Very nice work gentlemen!
  • Nice job! I am not quite 50 yet but grew up loving oldies and this song. I was probably four or five and had this record. I played it, along with My Girl, by the Temptations, over and over. I still believe the 50’s and 60’s was the greatest music ev…
  • Elvis, very cool lines in this one. The references are very strong. It all comes together very nicely, and most of all, it’s relatable.
  • Cool song. I think it could be a bit longer but that is easily done. I myself am in need of vocal assistance. Might be where AI helps those of us who are tone deaf.
  • Thanks! It seems as if all is well now.
  • Mora, thank you!
Gave, appreciate the compliment. I am also in Ohio, eastern part.
Elvis, appreciate the suggestions. I may look to make some changes at the end.
  • Chris, there really isn’t much to say. Your work is always top notch and yet again, here we are. Best of luck with the new album. Should do great!
  • Elvis, this is definitely a unique sound. Nice production and your voice reminds me of someone and I can’t quite put a finger on it. A bit Roger Allan Wade meets Bob Dylan. It works!
  • Thanks for looking, Owen. It’s always funny to me because on another post someone commented that the lines didn’t work. I actually feel pretty good about this one other than the pathetic attempt at a bridge. I sometimes think people forget how peopl…
  • Change to “Let Go My Ego.” It will be a very memorable title at least for some of us who are a bit older. Like the old waffle commercial. Just a thought.

  • Owen, you’ve definitely gave me some food for thought. As always, a different perspective that is always helpful. Appreciate the feedback.
Mora, thanks for looking and commenting.
  • Elvis, very professional sounding! As good as anything on the radio today. I in no way see this as a country song, even pop country, reminds me of Adam Levine. A couple of spots where the vocals could have been louder but overall excellent.

  • Mora, very haunting vibe, but cool. Nice video production as well.
  • Nice work! Has a Buffetesque vibe. Catchy tune just a little long for me.
  • Very good lines Andrea! Nice work on the collaboration. I will have to reach out to Jeff and see if he is interested in some older country stuff. Thanks for the suggestion.
  • Iron knee, thanks for looking. The Son is meant to signify the reach to a higher power for help. Thanks for commenting and your input.
Andrea, I will have to check that out and see if it’s something they are willing to work with. Appreciate t…
  • Thanks all. Andrea/Chris, no music, as usual, only lyrics. Maybe someday I’ll get around to that. When life gets less hectic.😂 Andrea, I was going to go the opposite direction with the ending but felt this was more powerful. Owen, I was wanting to g…
  • Jane, I love the twitter lines. Very unique.I’m a little rusty myself as I haven’t written in quite some time. Overall I like it. It’s a good start into getting back in the groove. Best of luck!
  • Iron knee, I like the overall feel of the song. I do think there are a few cliche lines that you may look to change but there are also some brilliant lines that I love in it. “You gotta wonder who’s the fool taking who for a ride” killer line! Overa…
