  • I have a friend I know from work and that is his hobby too, he spends every weekend searching out abandoned buildings. He says sometimes he just sits and listens and tries to imagine what they were like when they were full of life. Really cool wr…

  • Damn good writing right there Elvis, this one hit home as I believe I have been all three at some point in my life, sometimes all three at once. Music is a great fit for the vibe and the lyrics. Enjoyed it.

  • I enjoyed this, the beat took me to a way better place than I had been most of the morning. I didn't understand a word of it, but I didn't need to.

  • I frickin love this one Renee! I wouldn't change anything about it, beautiful the way it is, but if I did I'd say try sorrow before pain, it feels like it would fit better to me. But I really do love this a lot.

  • Cool concept, one that most everyone who is grown can relate to. Those carefree days for most people, back before the bills that came had your name on them. I like what you have going on this one Stoney, I only have one suggestion, and it could j…

  • I've rode out more hurricanes than tornadoes but neither one is my idea of a good time

  • Undecided could be the title
  • Not that they are at all the same this one reminded me of Pine Box by Doug Stone which was big back in the 80's, similar stories but came out in a time before political correctness. Good writing @ElvisNash
  • That is a pretty cool write and song, good to see you back here making music my friend. This one makes me want to re do my Hurricane song, this turned out great

  • Nice imagery in the lyrics, that chorus is fresh, don't think I've heard anything like it. Cool song

  • Haha I was thinking Aunt Joan was a phrase known in England that we here in the states wouldn't understand. Really good writing Sid.and the music matches up well with the sentiment of the lyric.
  • The grind of the day to day is illustrated well in your lyric, I like how you brought the first verse back to represent how the whole rinse and repeat routine can wear you down. I look forward to hearing it, nice writing Renee
  • Thanks Sid!, I will try to figure that out, I never even knew you could do this stuff with AI a month ago until I came back to the forum and read some posts about it.
  • Thank you for the trip to ocean breeze and the smell of sunscreen, it's cold everywhere right now even here in Florida I've been wearing a coat for two weeks. Jimmy Buffett would have liked this, he may have wanted some steel drums tho.
  • @Sid, it took over 100 tries to get the music the way I wanted on this one. AI wanted it to be a soft ballad too. I'm still learning how to work the AI prompts and commands to make it sound like I want.
  • This may be my new favorite of yours, nice writing Elvis. I still love Gods Cadillac but as a Friend of Bill's and Jimmy's this has a special meaning for me.
  • Owen, iI don't think you can select a singer by name, the vocals fit as they are enough for me. But then again, It's not unusual to have dreams of anyone badadadada hahaha
  • @bhengen thanks, the music makes the lyric imo especially the guitar solo at the bridge, it may be my only song I don't want to redo.

@ElvisNash that's high praise, thank you

@Sid thanks man, this really is a true story based…
  • That is some colorful word tapestry, metal is not really my thing but the message is strong here. Keep em coming.
  • The thing about hate and resentment for me, it's like drinking poison hoping the person you hate dies, it consumes you from the inside till you're gone. I think you captured that in your song. I love these jam sessions you guys are doing.

  • Yeah in rockers, on the porch, with an old dog at that their feet.

  • @carroll Great hook, I too would like to hear what you could create with AI. I was reluctant to post AI too, but I got …

  • @Renee I don't know how long it will take, or if it will even happen but I have some friends who said they would try to get this to DAC to see what he thinks. If it's a problem, I doubt he will be shy about sharing his opinion. I'm really happy you …

  • I agree it was a marketing thing, I bought the Outlaw album myself so it worked, but Coe was not really part of that pack. In my mind Coe and Johnny Paycheck were the true Outlaws of that era with the exception of maybe Waylon he was pretty raw. Coe…
