It's a lovely song. The guitar tone is so real on this.
The whole thing has a wistful feeling which seems very appropriate to the theme.
Love how "blow over" and "I’m colder" is sung in the chorus!
I like "edgewise", not something you see used often! I actually prefer that over the jibber jabber.
"Some other love other than you" - might be nice to avoid the repeat on "other" if that's possible.
"What more a picture can I draw?" - I'd lose the "a" in there if it were me.
But those are tiny things, and likely just personal preferences. It's very strong.

Hi Rainy... It was the first verse w/ melody that came as an inspiration. I was in Alaska finishing a job with a friend, and we were on our way to Homer for a Halibut fishing charter. The song just came to me, as if handed me.
