Irish breakfast tea makes me compose music!

I don't know what it is but if I have a cup of Irish breakfast tea before I finish the cup I routinely reach for the guitar and write a song! Without the tea I definitely would not! My goodness! Maybe some of you who live in that part of the world know what I mean when it comes from that tea. I can hear something like "My father won't do anything until he has his tea!". Regardless, Irish tea is like no other tea in the world!

That's wild! But if it works for you... Sometimes we just need a trigger to get us into the right mindset.

Well, tea is probably better for you than some of the, err, stimulants that have been used in the past! Not that I would know of course!!😇
I'm a Brit, so I always start my day with a cup of tea. Is Irish breakfast tea any different to English? I'm not sure about that one. For the record, my favourite is Yorkshire Tea with a drop of milk and one sugar (stirred clockwise naturally!).

Irish breakfast tea is similar to English tea but Irish tea has a stronger taste. Irish teas blend leaves from the Assam region of India and East Africa which provides a stronger tea, never bitter, and an impossibly deep red or golden color. English teas in general seem to me to blend in Ceylon and maybe Chinese teas which give a lighter taste profile.
Like English teas, Irish, Welsh, and northern German teas are expertly crafted. They are really a culinary work of art.
For me Irish tea is indispensable to songwriting and recording. And there are no side effects, other than using a bathroom a bit more and a headache if I go more than 2 days without it!

A toke or a vape always helps me . . .
Never tried Irish Tea but what the heck if you say so!

@ChrisPrice most of us Americans start the day off with coffee! I perk mine on the stove top the old fashioned way. Very good coffee; organic, too!
Enjoy your tea time,

Thank you, @robwills for the inspiration on the following ditty:
CUP ‘A TEA
I’ve always been a rebel
A misfit through an’ through
I’m the one they blackball
When it’s all they can do
But there’s one thing that we can agree:
I’ll never be everybody’s cup ‘a tea
[Chorus]
I’ll never be everybody’s cup ‘a tea
Ain’t English, ain’t Irish it’s plain to see
So why don’t you just be you and I’ll be me
‘Cuz I’ll never be everybody’s cup ‘a tea
I’ve always come off harsh
When I’m tellin’ the truth
The truth is a harsh pill
Like missin’ a front tooth
Throwin’ the first punch just isn’t me
I’ll never be everybody’s cup ‘a tea, no
[Chorus]
I’ll never be everybody’s cup ‘a tea
Ain’t English, ain’t Irish it’s plain to see
So why don’t you just be you and I’ll be me
‘Cuz I’ll never be everybody’s cup ‘a tea
I’ve always been a rebel
A misfit through an’ through
I’m the one they blackball
When it’s all they can do
But there’s one thing that we can agree:
I’ll never be
No, I’ll never be
I’ll never be everybody’s cup ‘a tea!
Cheers!
