In short, Ai takes a prompt and turns it into composites of a song, lyrics, instrumental, music and vocals.
A prompt is a basic description of what you are looking for, e.g. A heartbreaking song about the loss of a family dog, Country & Western, Americana, Red Dirt, Female vocal, country, midbeat, steel guitar, fiddle, bass, drums. You select the composite option, in my case, just music and vocals as I wrote and supplied the lyrics. Ai then processes the request based on your prompt and comparable music and vocals in its database. The app creates two outputs for you to choose from, you can select one you like or run it again and repeat. You can fine tune your prompts to get a better output, (in theory).
In reality, there is currently a great deal of randomness built into the system, and this is reflected in the quality of the output. Each run costs you credits which you get each month via subsciption or much less on a free option.
Some people use hundreds of credits in an effort to get the ideal output, I don't. I only use Ai as a tool to help people understand the lyrics better and for me to improve my writing, I normally spend 30-40 minutes on the Ai side of things and go with the best I have at the end of that time!

P.S. From day 1 of using Ai, I have asked people not to comment on the Ai component of my songs, my input is minimal and the output too random to take any form of credit for it. I do however, take responsibility for selecting the option which is eventually married to the lyrics.

I have drawn on many of my own experiences for most of my songs, true. A lot are borne out of simple observation, and everyday interactions, not necessarily relationships.

I like the theme here, the "can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em" vibe, there's far less songs out there coming from this angle.
And it maintains a light enough mood to carry it off.
My favorite lines are:

Truly a great love song. The way you got the ai to emote the feelings you captured in the lyrics is great and your choice of the piano being the main musical focus was perfect for the song. It is a well written piece and my favorite was as others mentioned, 'building bridges just to watch them burn, some point wouldn't you think we'd learn'. It's a powerful line to a powerful song.
