This genre is definitely not my cup of tea, but you went to the trouble of posting it, so the least I can do is listen to it.

Surprise, I actually liked it, it was quite good actually. The lyrics came together nicely with the music, others will no doubt comment on the technicality of the music/vocals, but I liked it.

I think the lo-fi style worked for this one. Maybe it's the early starship reference, but it just felt in sync with the song.

It's definitely got style and mood to it.
