Old Beatles Song (Uke)

I remember seeing The Beatles on Ed Sullivan Show, February 9, 1964.

Here is a song that I have composed in 2013.

Intro: 8 bars (key of C)

Listen to an old Beatles song

Easy how you can sing along

Just follow the flow and you never go wrong

beep-beep beep

You learn how to play the guitar

Practise Back In The U. S. S. R.

Please, don't play too fast if you're driving my car

beep-beep beep

Look at Paul McCartney, who is on a journey

Just like Buddy Holly, Yeah, he's right on the key

Instrumental: 8 bars

Listen to a new catchy song

Easy, now you can sing along

Just follow the flow and you never go wrong

beep-beep beep

Look at Michael Bublé, who is on a journey

Just like Elvis Presley, Yeah, he's right on the key

Instrumental: 8 bars

Listen to an old Beatles song

Easy how you can sing along

Just follow the flow and you never go wrong

beep-beep beep

Just follow the flow and you never go wrong

beep-beep beep

beep-beep beep

beep-beep beep

beep

  • It’s very catchy. I like how you reference some of the Beatles classics in your lyrics.
Some harmonies would have been a nice. Not sure if you’re set up for recording multiple tracks. But it’s a good song as it is.
  • Very easy listening! I wonder if you should call it "Old catchy song" rather than "Old Beatles song" since you reference other artists as well. But no matter what you call it, it's fun and yes, catchy!

  • Lovely song. Nice references in the lyrics. The chord progressions are sort of in the style of the fab four but your delivery is unique. I enjoyed it.😀
