Wine is for the young
Verse
The tears they keep raining.
The sun don’t ever shine.
Life has a bitter taste.
It’s vinegar not wine.
Pre chorus
I’ll pour you a glass if you want
Just so you can see.
What time does to a broken heart.
What it’s done to me.
Chorus
They say good wine gets better.
Better days will come.
More and more I’m finding out
Wine is for the young.
Verse
The years they keep rolling.
The rain it never slows.
Life doesn’t get better.
We keep growing old.
Pre chorus
If you want I’ll buy you a watch.
So you can keep the time.
You had best keep track of the hours.
Cause I lost track of mine.
Chorus
They say good wine gets better.
Better days will come.
More and more I’m finding out
Wine is for the young.
Verse
The days they grow shorter.
The sun is lower still.
If perhaps I’m bitter.
Time has broken my will.
Pre chorus
If you ask, I’ll pour you a glass.
So, you can taste what’s to come.
You had best learn to like it.
Or a good shot of rum.
Chorus
They say good wine gets better.
Better days will come.
More and more I’m finding out
Wine is for the young.
Bridge
Give me tequila, hand me a lime.
Time has been no friend of mine.

Bitterness shining through in this one, full marks for emotion.
My favorites lines:
If you want I’ll buy you a watch.
So you can keep the time.
You had best keep track of the hours.
Cause I lost track of mine.
I like "Wine is for the young" as the theme, though I would say that the very young adults tend to prefer something sweeter and it becomes an acquired taste as they get older - that's not a criticism, just an offhand remark.
You've mentioned tequila in the Bridge. There would be an option to make more of that in the song: spirit's for the broken, wine is for the young or something like that. Not sure that would be better than what you have, just different.

No doubt another excellent work Carroll.
Do enjoy the way you structure your songs.
Flows effortlessly.
