Poison Love
This is "Poison Love," Track 7 from my new album, "Dark, Beautiful World."
7. Poison Love
Verse 1 (Sad piano, acoustic guitars, Soft Rock guitars and strings)
He only loved three things
The needles, white powder and pills
And took them to the grave with him
Now she holds his picture
And wonders why he didn’t love her
He chose all those demons over the angel he had
Chorus (Add louder guitars and drums)
There’s nothing real about, there’s nothing real about
All those drugs
There’s nothing real about, there’s nothing real about
All that poison love
Verse 2:
Those Tears run down her face
They burn as much as the poison
That was coursing through his veins
Her heart’s full of so much pain
She’s feeling the same as him
He’s not the only one who feels all alone
Chorus:
Bridge:
Why did he want that (want that)
She feels so bad (so bad)
Was there anything she could've done
There’s nothing real about…
(Quiter, slowed down music)
There’s nothing real about…
There’s nothing real about…
(Return to louder, more bombastic and emotional music)
No! There’s nothing real about, there’s nothing real about
All those drugs
There’s nothing real about, there’s nothing real about
All that, all that, all that…
Poison love!
No, all that poison love…
(music fades)

"Poison Love" is a great hook and title.
I like how easily you tell the story, starting from his perspective, then "And took them to the grave with him", then switching to her POV.
This feels like one that will start slow, then go hard at the end.
