Love Again I don't know , Love Again in my soul , Love Again I don't know , Love Again in my soul.

Never thought I'd be like this living life all alone

Two kids a house my Dog and it feels so alone

Paint a picture of my life and I don't know

Never thought Id be the one to live, on my own

Love Again I don't know . Love again in my soul. Love Again I don't know . Love Again in my soul.

Never thought Id feel like this in my own life

Never thought I'd feel the Sun in my own life

Never thought I'd be the one living life all alone

never thought I'd see my self in love on my own

Love Again I don't know . Love Again in my soul. Love Again I don't know . Love Again in your soul.

Love Again I don't know . Love Again in my soul.

  • I like the "Love again I don't know. Love again in my soul" lines. And I think it's a strong opening.

I'd prefer to see something other than a direct repeat immediately afterwards. It feels just a bit repetitious to me.

From this line: "Never thought Id be the one to live, on my own" it sounds like he has outlived his wife.

From the "Love again" lines perhaps he has potentially found love again (rather than just contemplating it). And if that's not what you had in mind you might consider it as it gives the song somewhere to progress to, even if he doesn't make his mind up during the song.

Good song, Like the feel. Strong opening. Needs some more variation and progression.

A very good song, Joe, with solid lyrics, very good acoustic guitar strumming, and strong vocals. It reminds me a lot of the southern rock genre, and maybe even a hint of Lynard Skynard from the 70s. Thanks for sharing, man! My girl and I were over at the Flora-Bama east of Orange Beach last summer listening to live music. A performance of your song there would have been well received.

    Cheers,

    Joseph

  • A great song Joe. I can well hear this being played by a full band. Southern rock has been mentioned and I'd go with that. As it stands, it's a cool voice and acoustic song. I really enjoyed it.😀
