I like the structure of this Kayla. The verse/chorus/bridge/close parts just feel like a professional song you might hear played.

You're always good at capturing emotions, and you've done that here too, but this one feels like a tight song.

You've penned another cool set of lyrics, Kayla! Nice work! My favorite lines are:

& give it to someone else

...but there are lots of other cool lines as well. You said before you may favor pop or country genres, which is cool, but I can also imagine Pat Benatar or Joan Jett jamming to uptempo pop-rock songs with your lyrics in the 80s. Nice work! Thanks for sharing! 😀

I'd agree with the idea of maybe finding someone to provide some music for your words. 'You can go f* yourself'? Not something I would write in a song, though I've been tempted a time or two! I'm liking your words here..they tell a story. Keep em comin'😀
