@Kayla813 I like what you have so far. I think you have some strong and interesting lines to work with and build on for a full song. Is it intended as a personal song about lost or toxic love, or a song about an abstract situation? I hope you add some additional lines and develop it more. Not to be the word police, but in the final line, I think you meant to start with "than" instead of "then". You have the beginnings of a cool song. 😀
