I like your lyrics a lot, Kayla. Based on the meter of the words, I can imagine cool uptempo music with a strong beat for the song.

Lot's of emotion here, and that's a good thing.

Wistful and sad at the start, then more forceful angry towards the end. I like the dynamic change there.

The "keep forgetting" part is my favorite.

If I'm honest I'm not so good at evaluating lyrics on their own. That's not meant as a criticism in any way - it's just me. But I'll have a stab here anyway.

I can imagine the opening lines being spoken over an instrumental intro. The singing could maybe come in at 'Seems like so long ago'. I'm not quite sure how the structure of the whole song would work out but, for me, it has the makings of a powerful ballad. It could even be an acoustic song..I dunno.

There's a lot of emotional stuff here and I think it's well written.😀
