Take On The Fire
This addresses the fear with an ever-changing world and the lure of temptation... be it drugs, relationships, and our fascination with the science of AI
Take On The Fire

Take on the fire; the fire will take you
You play the game, boy, but the rules weren’t meant for you
Step in the box, and the box will shut you in
Cut you off before you can begin
Take on the fire; into the flames you go
Just be careful, boy; it’s a world you’ll never know
And how you’ll yearn for that thing no one can teach
Always close, but always out of reach
And I know you know better, but it’s the game you have to play
Beware those puppet strings when the spotlight blinds your way
Take on the fire; it’s here and all the rage
Yes, it’s tempting, boy; it’s the start of a brand-new age
And you’ll go on, only to one day feel
Rather numb to all that was once real
And I know you know better, but it’s the game you have to play
Beware those puppet strings when the spotlight blinds your way
Take on the fire; into the flames you go
Just be careful, boy; as the flames begin to grow
Take on the fire, by the time you feel its burn
The time will be long past the point of no return

Excellent!
Is this all you, Tom, or have you hired pro's again? Please don't tell me it's artificial. 😪
Regardless, it's excellent in every way.

Thanks, DR... and here I thought all along that you were ignoring my "cover" posts. The Dobro is awesome.
I wouldn't have it any other way. In fact, I need to extend the ending a bit 😉
But thanks!
Thanks, M...I kinda like this one myself!
Thanks Rainy.... Spaghetti Man is an AI whisper!

15 seconds intro is standard for industry , or you bore people , Yes ending cuts off really quick , You need to fix the robots . probably edit buttons in Suno to fix it

Hey there Elvis... I'll let it stand until I get some hot-shot producer telling me otherwise.
Show me the money
LOL

Money on a AI song ? Kinda doubtful I'd say . Spotify is creating their own AI songs and making money and lying its not there's , thats the new scam . They get millions of views on playlists . Apple is probably doing the same thing , Their cashing in on a resource from AI songs . The one that got billions of views was one made in Sweden where Spotify is located . Pretty easy trace it was them and their lying about it . Since there is no real artist involved but machines , Spotify makes the money on plays

I don't care about the "industry" You must know that about me by now. I care as much for those in the "industry" as they care for me.
I'm just making music and the best representations I can of my songs, while the "industry" is in a frantic money grab, as they have always been.
Please don't tell me anymore what the "industry" expects. It's all Bull-shit, if you ask me.

Sounds great. I enjoyed the build-up of the intro, although I think I agree with Elvis that there's maybe a few more bars in there than one might expect. Not really a problem for this listener.
As I've said before, I like what you're doing, feeding Suno the lyric and melody and generating a cover. If I have one complaint, it's maybe that everything is too perfect. Is that really a complaint - it's too good? 🤔LOL. I miss the little imperfections of the "real thing," the individualism, but that's probably just me.
I like the lyric too.

Hey there Gavin, thanks for listening and commenting. I not only submit a lyric and melody, I also submit the entire home recording... all the guitars (rhythms, leads) and all the harmonies, and other instruments that may have strike my fancy. I must say, some of the suno arrangements are stunning... things with my own music that I wouldn't have thought of doing.

Hey Elvis.. I didn't mean to sound so harsh. Sorry about that! It has nothing to do with you. I just think the music business stinks!

no worries , yeah it pretty much stinks with a unfair playing field , Its not about the song its about the money

its the same old game the industry likes young faces to make money off them . They disregard the old artists like the Unites States disposes of senior citizens , Nothing has changed . The same with has been hit writers trying to make money off novice writers and saying you can be on radio , Their lying Nobody in Nashville needs anybody's songs Its all supplied by staff writers . Now it took me 30 years to figure that out and deep in debt. a 1000 demos and endless work day and night. Then I woke up to reality and the onslaught of AI songs

Apparently, it was never meant to be for you and I in the "Biz"
The way my life turned out, I have nothing to complain about.
Besides, I don't like real-life vampires and ghouls.

Well nobody likes cry babies anyway, it is what it is

Yes, I should have been more precise. I know you upload the complete recording. Anyway, it's the best use of AI in my opinion 🙂

I agree. If you are in a working band, it's arrangements are a great resource.

Yeah... it's all me. I've adopted an English accent and like, all of a sudden, my recording is of an elite level.
I haven't been inclined to pay hundreds of dollars for a recording since 2006.

ha ha ha I've adopted a English accent , Can't blame for that Tom , it does add up on session players
