Love the rawness of this, the guitar work especially. What Iove most about it is the unpretentious
Get right in, say what you have to say and zoom out.

I'd characterize this as low fi music. Like this alot. The slides are cool

Right in your sweet spot, style-wise! That raw edged blues that you do so well.

In terms of the lyric, "Solitary star" seems to play an important role. It doesn't across as any old star, but a specific one. But there's no explanation as to what that is, other than "solitary" implies leaving alone, and maybe loneliness. But that doesn't seem a likely guide towards finding the one you love. So I likely didn't understand the imagery.
