You can instruct ai to not over produce it. I agree it tends to produce songs I could never reproduce cause they have such huge production dust in them.

But it's also true ignoring that you can still use ai for punk rock and low fi stuff.

It just goes for over the top to make people having fun with it get a huge kick out of it.

I'd say right now only a small percentage of people using this, are actual artists.

I think there's a difference between an artist and a user

And after listening to hundreds if not thousands of home recordings , there is nothing authentic about most of it.

It's very difficult to sound authentic even with a band.
