The Walls of Limbo

Hola,

It's been a while since I've looked out this window... But here I am again, behind the glass that unites us.

This song is old, but I want to give it a chance on this forum. It's basically an instrumental, although it has its lyrical part in the first part.

I had fun doing this work; it was different, I was different, or so I think.

I hope you're all well. I've seen that many of you continue to create magic, and I also hope my work entertains you.

The train was going fast

leaving the night behind

and the rhythm of its sound

awoke sleeping echoes

on the wallls of that limbo

The train was goijng fast

leaving its lament behind

and I devoured time

wrapping it in my eyes

to lookk for its secrets

The hours stretched

under the gaze of that sound

while my life continues running

through that clock that is not mine

It's great. I love the solo synth. I enjoy looking back on older work with fresh ears. Things that seemed good at the time, seem flawed now. But other things stand out as better than I thought back then. Thanks for using YouTube. I admire your visual skills and YouTube has a format that always works, even with my weak internet connection.

Very good Mora, not normally my go to genre, but I felt myself drawn in to the music and lyrics. Quite hypnotic in parts and strangely relaxing. Liked it very much, well done.

I've never heard anything like this before. Very unique, and atmospheric vibe to it. Enjoyed my listen.
  • Very much a soundscape, as you noted in your introduction.

As always the images and video are a treat!

Unusual and engaging. I enjoyed my watch and listen 😁

  • Beautiful! Marcus' music is very cinematic and it creates a tension like a taut string that stretches through the whole video. I love the visuals too, as always, especially that bit at the end when we are looking at you creating the video. Circle within a circle.

life has been very hard on my family for the past few months, months that seem like years, months that have changed the concept I had of time, but this is not relevant here, so I thank all of you for your kind comments and while things happen, I will share songs that I haven't shared before here and the few new ones that I can make.

I'm very happy to be back on the forum; it's a window through which I can breathe new dreams.

    Stay well

    Hola @OnlyGavin

I'm also glad to see you're okay. It's been a while since you last showed up when I was here.

Valladolid? Beautiful area, land of bishops, we used to say.

    Stay well
