Ides of march
Lyrics - Me, Music- Suno
I've been having issues with Suno on this one, for some reason I cannot get it to be female vocals only

About the assassination of Julius Ceasar.
This song is about an event in time. not a statement about the current political climate. nor does this have to do with demon possession. Please keep the comments solely on the lyrics, out of respect.
I've already blocked one person.
[Intro]
Caesar, Oh the all mighty Caesar,
I invade your dreams to forewarn
A saga of your imminent demise
Of warnings of three tales bourn
Take heed, Oh Caesar, hear my cries
Soothsayer, wife, haruspices speak
Of the ides of march, you will die
[Verse 1]
Out of the misty evening shadows
Looms a shrouded figure in black
Take heed, my dear Julius Caesar
It's foretold, you'll be attacked
When the ides of march fall upon
The very day is now most clear
And when time breaks at the dawn
[Chorus]
Tis the Ides Of march o' Caesar,
For that very day, you should fear
Take caution and heed o' Caesar,
On that day, your death draws near.
[Verse 2]
My dear, my love, my Julius Caesar,
Last night I had the worst dream
The very men you hold council close
Standing next to a bloody stream
On the cold, stone, marble floor
Your cold, lifeless body doth lay
Attend not senate today, I implore
[Chorus]
Tis the Ides Of march o' Caesar,
For that very day, you should fear
Take caution and heed o' Caesar,
On that day, your death draws near.
[Verse 3]
Oh, the mighty emperor, Julius Caesar
The majestic beast for you, I've slain
And have laid the entrails and seen
A day in the senate you must abstain
Heed my words, as I'm rarely wrong
Brutus, Cassius, Casca and others
At knife's blade your final swansong
[Bridge]
Oh, great Owl, why do you screech so
In my dreams, but I awake and fear not
I've heard the tales of which you speak
Even Brutus has confirmed of no plot
Of the senate brethren conspirations
Against my very being, my very goals
Of a greater Rome is my only aspiration
[Outro]
On March fifteenth, forty-four BCE
Will go down in the annals of history
At the base of the statue of Pompey
A man's myopic vision of his reality
Comes clear, strikes of twenty-three
Hails quickly from his closest allies
Now spiteful, hateful, brutal enemies

Bill, run the lyrics through Riffusion Ai for female vocals.

@sidshovel - forgot about them :)

Well done Bill, Knowing the lead-up to Caesar's murder, I could follow the lyrics easily. Thoroughly enjoyable tale, I confess, I enjoy your historical renditions more so than the abstract ones. Yes, I know that's down to my limitations, but following the song and lyrics I get so much more out of it.
Again, excellent piece, well put together,
Tip: couple of mispronunciations of "Ides", solution: In Suno prompt ONLY write, "Hides"
Love it,
Sid

@sidshovel - thanks. I thought those mispronunciations of ides, gave it character. so I left them :)

Got a rock opera feel to it. The more formal tone and structure of the lyric works well for this topic.
I didn't mind the switch between male and female. Made it feel like different perspectives on the same event.
Intriguing!

July is named after ole Ceasur . August is Augustus who took over . Congress didn't like him , I know lets stab him to death

I agree with Owen. This has a rock opera feel to it. Either that or Meatloaf :)
There are a few grammatical mistakes in the lyric - but probably only an insufferably pedantic old geezer like me would be bothered by them LOL.
I don't mind the switch in voices, although it's unfortunate that the male singer comes in just when it's Caesar's wife speaking.

@OnlyGavin - the grammatical mistakes are intentional. there is even a made up word - conspirations.. that I made up because it fit with the cadence :) thanks for the comment :) I think Suno was having issues. I'll try again later and see if I get the same results.
