Theodora

https://suno.com/song/e304899c-e7ca-4b5f-a3f6-11fe8b48c7fd

this was inspired by listening to "my epitaph" by king crimson, but veered a bit.

supposed to be in 6/8 time, but couldn't get Suno to cooperate...

[Verse 1]

The shadow dancers of moonlight beams

Cast infinite scenes of perpetual dreams

While I weave, my thoughts drift away

Time steals moments, lies and betrays

[Verse 2]

The black swan's a symmetry of desire

An endless dance of passion and fire

A swirling mass of dark and light

A female's will to bend a man's might

[Chorus]

The loom moves like newton's cradle

Rhythmically weaving fabrics of fables

And aspirations for different lives

In vivid imagination dreams thrives

[Verse 3]

A tavern where destinies collide

A collection of fate and chance resides

Where two people meet and love grows

Onward in time on the river's flow

[Verse 4]

From the cocoon butterflies take flight

Sowing the seeds of power and might

A single strike let the dominoes fall

Cascading events to rise above it all

[Chorus]

The loom moves like newton's cradle

Rhythmically weaving fabrics of fables

And aspirations for different lives

In vivid imagination dreams thrives

[Verse 5]

The eagle with heads of two soars

Over dense lands and vast seashores

As seen from the palace so great

once paupers now a heads of state

[Verse 6]

As cancer tears at the body and soul

The ferry comes, we must pay the toll

Different paths at the crossroads

Shedding our flesh, our spirit unloads

[Outro]

The loom moves like newton's cradle

Rhythmically weaving fabrics of fables

Of new dreams now lived through

Where hopes and desires ring true

  • Amazing, Bill, truly. Through and through. Who writes such incredible poetry? Only you. And as a side note, love the swan photo you used on SUNO; so dreamy. Saved myself a copy. Is that okay? Thanks.
