Nothing More Frightening (Christmas Ditty)

Thought I'd share a whimsical Christmas song with you being that it is Christmas day. But this one's about Christmas Eve day.

NOTHING MORE FRIGHTENING

[Verse 1]

Turn signal’s on left

She’s takin’ a right

Buckle up, Lucy

Pup, hold on tight!

‘Cuz they’re in a mad hurry

Runnin’ red lights

[Chorus]

Halloween is scary

On the contrary

There’s nothing more frightening than the way people drive on Christmas Eve day

No, there’s nothing more frightening than the way people drive on Christmas Eve day

[Verse 2]

Now, he’s cuttin’ me off

Givin’ me the evil eye

Buckle up, Gramma

Today we could die!

And they’re honkin’ their horns

Gramma don’t cry!

[Chorus]

Halloween is scary

On the contrary

There’s nothing more frightening than the way people drive on Christmas Eve day

No, there’s nothing more frightening than the way people drive on Christmas Eve day

[Verse 3]

The Golden Rule has

Gone out the window

God must be laughin’

Watchin’ us bozos

‘Cuz steams’ pipin' from our ears

And Christmas blows!

[Chorus/Tag]

Halloween is scary

On the contrary

There’s nothing more frightening than the way people drive on Christmas Eve day

No, there’s nothing more frightening than the way people drive on Christmas Eve day

No, there’s nothing more frightening than the way people drive on Christmas Eve day!

Seems like every day around Orlando, I avoid that area like the plague. I agree tho, lots of people on the naughty list around Christmas behind the wheel, and in the stores, and at resturaunts, and, and, and...

  • Yep, people get a bit crazy here too.

I was pulled up at the lights and a car came up on my left and zoomed around the corner. Not only through a red light, but there wasn't even a lane on that side.

    I can definitely relate!
