For a chuckle! Coming out of the grocery store last week pushing my cart to my car, for some odd reason I found myself half-singing: 'It takes a sense of humor to get through the day'. So a week later, here's the song. Any feedback, suggestions to use in this list song would be helpful.

I enjoyed the listen Renee, there is a lot of truth in this tune if we can't laugh about some of this stuff, we will all go crazy.

Sense of humour is a life-saver! I think you're right on the mark with this one!
Good lyric, and the music is a good match for it.
You might try using some 7th chords in your chorus, at the end of line 2, and at "humor" in the last line. If this is currently G,C and D then maybe D7 will work? Give it a whirl.

Thanks so much, guys and @RainyDayMan I will definitely try the D7's as you suggested! And "Give it a Whirl" Did somebody already write that? If not, or even so, sounds the song to me!
