Thought I'd Make Myself Useful - Song Title Tips
Talking to a dear songwriting friend on the phone last night, she had a really cool hook/title that names a geographical place (or two, actually)! I said to her, 'Hey! That would make a great song!' And it reminded me of other words in titles which make great songs and have hit-potential such as the following:
Color songs; any color of the rainbow will do
Number songs; any number will do
If; that BIG little word IF is always welcome
Name songs as in your own personal name or someone's name that you know (or don't know)
Heart songs; using the word heart in your title
Night songs; using the word night in your title
Home songs; using the word home in your title
And the list goes on. Any words which you feel or have learned which make great titles, I'd really love to know.
