Oh, The Bridges I've Burned

Upon listening to Sid's, 'The-dirty-line-of-pain in some strange and remote way provoked the following Chorus so I thought I'd take a stab at it. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
OH, THE BRIDGES I’VE BURNED
[Verse 1]
As I wake in the autumn of my life
Lookin’ through my rearview mirror
My mistakes shatter my heart
My vision couldn’t be clearer
[Chorus]
Oh, the bridges I’ve burned
The bridges I’ve burned
To the ground
Oh, the bridges I’ve burned
The bridges I’ve burned
Can’t be found
[Verse 2]
The stone-walls I raised out of fear
Harsh words better left unspoken
The tears I wasn’t there to dry
The bones that I left broken
[Chorus]
Oh, the bridges I’ve burned
The bridges I’ve burned
To the ground
Oh, the bridges I’ve burned
The bridges I’ve burned
Can’t be found
[Bridge]
And I wonder how you’re doing today
Dead or alive, I cannot say
In a bed of sorrow, I lay
Pierced by thorns
[Chorus]
Oh, the bridges I’ve burned
The bridges I’ve burned
To the ground
Oh, the bridges I’ve burned
The bridges I’ve burned
Can’t be found
[Instrumental]
[Chorus]
Oh, the bridges I’ve burned
The bridges I’ve burned
To the ground
Oh, the bridges I’ve burned
The bridges I’ve burned
Can’t be found
Can't be found.

I like this Renee, more poetry than lyrical but lovely.
Keep hearing Leonard Cohen singing this.
Nice

Oh, don't I wish Leonard Cohen were still here to sing it! Not that he would, but . . . and I believe some of your poetic is rubbing off on me.
Thanks so much, Sid
