Now, I’m whistling a melody to this song

This is a very good song with excellent lyrics that painted a vivid picture in my mind.

So does the dream ending mean that your dog died? That wasn't 100% clear to me.

@RainyDayMan No. Thank goodness my dog didn't die 'cuz I just lost a dog back in July! 😓 The song is mainly about the American Dream ending. And me being sort of in a dream state as I'm walking my dog after a grueling day at work while writing the song. And staying strong, brave and true through it all. I suppose it isn't made clear. But neither is a dream most times. I thought "All empires fall" made it clear but evidently not. Are you gon' make me go back to the drawing board again? Dang . . .

Thanks for letting me know that the lyric wasn't made clear to you. 'Cuz if it isn't clear to you, it won't be clear to someone else. Then again, it's clear to me lol!
