Thanks. I needed to do something simple in form today but I know exactly what you mean. Full songs with a good microphone are on the way.
Chris: this song was done with a metronome of 93 beats per minute. After the middle effects section t…

It's music and that's great but to me it certainly needs to be tighter in all respects. It also sounds "hokey" like something you'd hear at an old age home on Wednesday at 2 pm.. I don't mean to discourage you at all. Maybe others will like it. R…

No problem. I could try to record something with an online metronome. If I do I will then post it. It would be interesting to hear how it sounds with drums.
-
None of my songs were recorded with anything that sets and keeps the tempo. This particular song is incomplete but some of my others that I posted are. I think it would be interesting to hear how one sounds with drums and possibly other instrumen…

Is there anyone here who could put some drums and bass to it?

Thank you for listening.
I love independent thought; being right is the key to finding your happiness. Being wrong does the opposite BUT you always have time to get it right.
-
You might suck now but you can get really good in time.
-
The lyrics are different than the original? I think the music needs to be more cohesive and clearer. Keep on writing and playing.
-
I'm not so big into lyrics but this seems to be a relatable story. I'll definitely listen to the music that goes with it.
-
Sounds like Elvis. I think you need a standup bass, a little 50's electric guitar and some backing vocals. This is the far best one I have heard from you. Don't stop.
By the way I spent Thanksgiving years ago in Cape Cod. What a perfect pl…

With "Le Formule" it can be said that happiness has been attained; without Le Formule it can be said a life was not realized.

I have never liked the genre but some of what has been derived from it, or combined with it, is very good. You definitely have talent and don't stop creating! I would like to see in this genre all the lyrics and sentiments promoting only good in …

Very peaceful sounding and well done in all respects. It sounds like the soundtrack to the film "Good Will Hunting" or even Simon and Garfunkel and similar artists in the early 70's.
-
Thanks. I actually like the song so much I wish I didn't write and record it so I could hear it totally new. Alas, that will never be.
-
Very English 80's sounding, like Squeeze or even a Duran Duran soft pop song. I don't believe it is radio ready; it needs some upgrades but once that's done could be.

Irish breakfast tea is similar to English tea but Irish tea has a stronger taste. Irish teas blend leaves from the Assam region of India and East Africa which provides a stronger tea, never bitter, and an impossibly deep red or golden color. En…

Wow! Someday the world will be practicing "Le Formule". You have no idea what you're missing. I had no idea. As I noted above, I discovered through a long evolution that was extremely difficult at times. But I succeed and found the Holy Grail: Le…

I've heard your music before. It's quiet inventive. This song is good. I bet you could do a great children's album!
The only other thing I will add is: What's the big deal with Paris? I don't get it. Just a large city with mostly unremarka…

Without Le Formule one can't even imagine such pure, concentrated enjoyment, such ecstasy! Another hint: Your quality of sleep will be something you have never experienced before. It will be an extremely deep and refreshing sleep. And of course, …

No one has interest in "Le Formula"? The formula that will bring the most concentrated pleasure one can experience?
-
Thanks. I will. The new microphone is in the near future.

Thanks for listening. It's really an honor. How amazing, miraculous actually, that anyone can create a piece of music and within minutes someone anywhere in the world can listen to it and comment! I see clearly 100% a future world of peace, prosp…

I used the pitch effect in Audacity afterwards to increase the pitch of the whole piece, the guitar and vocals. To me it sounds a heck of a lot better than the original. I rarely do this. In this case I believe it was appropriate.

Thanks for listening and your kind and helpful comments. It was just fun to do when I had a little time. It is in the key of D but the guitar solo is in E minor. Yea, I'm sophisticated. 😎

Chris, I hear you loud and clear. I'm working on getting far better sound quality than I have had. When I do I don't think you will disappointed, or at least I hope not. Thanks for all your constructive criticism on this good forum.
-
I have only thought about collaborating with other musicians, I actually have one time. For me I want to keep it all mine, for a number of reasons. I will work on the lyrics and of course the sound quality.
In the above song the lyrics des…

Yes, I see the comments not only as positive here but comments I totally agree with. I started out creating the music on a whim, while drinking Irish breakfast tea. I definitely see the potential and what I need to get there.

The subjective standards of sound and music quality are quite narrow. This is why if you listen to any major radio stations all the music, without exception, meets a very high standard of quality parameters. Some people can create professional so…

Thanks. I will get in the near future a good microphone, the one recommended to me on this forum.

Wow! This is not just professional quality, it's very listenable and dare I say it could be a hit song with a little more production. If there's any criticism I would say it may need some more instrumentation at some places, like a rich, piecing …
