Pretty cool song Tommy, I can see this being used in a Quentin Tarantino film, or maybe I'm having flashbacks from Pulp Fiction.

I think I'm over this one. You ever get that way with a song?
Time to let this fade into oblivion, I'd delete it if I could.
Lifes too short to write bad songs, you either feel it or you don't.

Interesting music, love the opening lines, keep em coming.

This is a special song Sid, really like this one a lot!

I absolutely love the music on this, it sets the mood for the lyrics well, great tune Steve

Thank you all for your comments, and suggestions, man I love this forum. I've made some changes to the lyric and it's still a work in progress so feel free to tear it down. Changed lines are in bold.

Thank you all for the suggestions, I only had the first two lines of the chorus and wrote rest in about 15 minutes, so with your suggestions, this one will morph into something better than it is.

As a Libra myself reading the comments made me think... What if Libras ruled the world, could we ever make a decision?

@Renee This is much better with the music, some pretty fancy guitar riffs in this one too. I lost my Mom last year so there's another way I relate to this one too. I still absolutely love the bridge, it leaves me wondering if this is about your M…

I feel bad for the folks that are trying to chase their dreams down Broadway in Nashville, giving it all they have, they have to be pretty thick skinned to deal with the rejection when they know they have talent. I bet there's a song in there som…

This is good, I can see the bar, and the bad fitting suits, from my stool as I listened from the corner of the bar. I'm looking forward to hearing it with the chorus changes. Verse 4 is my favorite, but they all tell the story in my mind.

I like the lyric a lot, it's relatable to me, as I'm sure it is to many. I've traveled for work for so long I don't have a home anymore, just a place I keep my stuff. I will listen later I'm supposed to be working. Really like the bridge a lot

Man, I love this, the lyrics are amazing the way they state the obvious things that are easy to miss when you don't take the time to look.
-
Def fits the mood you described from the movie, I love the lyrics too!

I listened before reading the comments and thought man this is a departure from what I'm used to hearing both words and music. I liked it a lot, so AI even wrote it for you? That's crazy. Great message in the song tho

I feel the same way Elvis, I've become used to sleeping indoors, and eating everyday but other than that, the rest is just for show.

Love the line " broker says I'm broke but I don't care, I'm a trailer park millionaire"! I'm working on a song that has a similar vibe about the haves and have nots. I like what you've done here Elvis.

Really good weite, struggle up the hill, and a breeze going down is my favorite lines, this took me back to my 70 C10, she want much to look at but neither was I. I pictured you all playing that on a porch or around a fire, enjoyed it.

Thanks everyone for reading and listening, I appreciate you. The thing about this one is it's too autobiographical to change anything on it. I don't have any illusions that my songs will ever be cut by a real artist, so what does it matter if someon…

AI music and vocals, pretty close to the melody I had while writing it.

Well shit, I never thought to look to see if it had been used before. I've had that little chorus in my head for years and just wrote the rest of it in the last week or so. In the grand scheme I don't imagine it really matters.

Welcome back! Happy to hear your brother is doing better! Drop off a song and stay then.

Very nice song, one I'm sure is pleasing to the Lord

Wow, this is such a good write, and it's plain to see this is from the heart and personal to you. My condolences, thank you for sharing this.
