I can’t promise you exactly what you’re looking for.
Only thing I can do is head off in that direction
and look around in the shadows for your answers
I knew from the start you didn’t need protection
I don’t have much money but I’ve got enough,
everything I’ve got I made sure it’s right here.
You’ve got a history turning frowns to smiles
and a straight line to the heart, tender but clear.
Anything you want
It’s all yours
I’m saying anything
Anything
We’ve seen Machu Picchu in the morning,
the falls at Iquazu, (my camera went under),
the Taj Mahal on a full moon night.
What you heard that startled you was thunder
Anything you want
it's all yours
i'm saying anything
anything
Ride out to the 3rd mesa
I’ll be writing a line.
The stone holds secrets
the stars hold in their shine.

Really clean recording here, that was the very first thing that struck me.
This feels like a love song to a specific person, one who shares the experiences described. If so, I expect they would love it. There's a sense of detail and intimacy.
I feel a little bit outside it, looking on. It's got a mysterious feeling, but a good vibe to it. I don't really understand it, but I feel like there is someone who will.

Some songs are written for an audience of two and this feels like one of those. To anyone else there is a sense of voyeurism of an intimacy shared long ago. I enjoyed the song from the pov of an outsider, not fully cognizant of the references contained in the lyrics.
A very good piece nevertheless, with excellent music rendition and delivery.
Well done, hope whoever it's meant for hears it.

Nice loose bluesy feel to this. It took me a while to tune into the vibe, but I enjoyed it when I did. I think it could maybe benefit from being just a little bit faster, but that's a minor thing.
