In my late 20s, early 30s I set them to music just for me. By my 40s I stopped playing and writing, but a couple of months ago I discovered Suno. I'm sure some people will consider that cheating, but I'm about to hit 60, I have neuropathy (so I can't play instruments anymore) and I've never been a great singer - but I still like to write lyrics and hear those lyrics turned into songs. Since the AI has to built the music around my lyrics, I count it as (mostly) my music : ).

This (Cold Custard) is most me just playing with words, though, as with many of my lyrics, there is a cathartic thing going on because I usually have a particular person or incident in mind when I'm jotting down words. Sadly, being English, the language in some of my songs are a bit fruity so I can't bring them here.

Have a good day.

Andrew (AD Culvain)
