Kindness Is Cool
Greetings! This hook/title came from a little sign in Benchmark Realty's window that caught my eye as I was pulling up to go and walk my dog. I'd seen the sign before but it never struck me as a song. As I was walking my dog I wrote the greater part of following lyric and isn't a phone memo recorder a nice little tool? Any feedback is appreciated as in where else I might've gone with it the lyric.
And I know the line 'A little drop 'a honey goes a long way' is cliche so I'm trying to come up with something else as I did in the final verse. And how 'holding open a door', the last line I needed in the last verse came along, was from a kind Mexican fella opening the door for me as I was picking up my take out Mexican dinner that same evening. Love it when that happens!
Looking at this lyric again, I suppose it could be construed as a children's song of which I don't have many.

This is nice, and the message is lovely. Always room for more kindness in the world.
It's already sounding good. My only suggestion is to sing the 2nd "Kindness is cool" the same as the 1st. See what you think.
Like the repeat on the outro, good way to finish.

This would be a great kids song, they could act the parts while singing and get a good message over.
