The Saint, Tarzan and Alice's cat

This song is a tribute that I have done to myself!!! Of course!
When I was a girl I wanted to be a Saint, the idea of how they died in ecstasy was something I couldn't understand just like I didn't understand what death was... So I wanted to try it!!! Girly things! Later I discovered Tarzan and his yell... I appropriated that cry, it was my flag of freedom, a human animal, it expressed strength, help in motion... I learned to imitate it and released it anywhere, on the street , on the stairs of my house, on the school stairs, in the patio, at the bus stop,
I'm telling you this because this song is an experiment for me since I've played with the absurdity of what I'm telling, combining it through the music of each part.
I think the result is positive and that it will distract you.
When
I was a child
I wanted
to be a Saint
to feel
the ecstasy of dying
Then
I wanted to be
a missionary
to go
there and there
and everywhere
I wanted to be a visionary
able to see without eyes
I wanted to be Tarzan
to call out to elephants
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I wanted to be to be
Alice's cat to have his smile
a magic hat
to fly from a bald head
to the next one
A cow cow cow
who watches
the passing trains
from the meadow
a lion
silencing
the lies of life with his roarrrrr
Now now now
I am only
2 feathers
one that writes
another that flies

Brilliant. I wasn't sure what to expect at the start. But then suddenly there's all imagary and lyrical imagination I've come to expect from you. Absurd, in some ways yes, but it reads like the thoughts of a young person. Great words and the video and music are terrific. 😀

It feels like a surrealist painting to me. All those different ideas overlaid through the eyes of a child.
I quite liked the isolated keyboard at the start and wouldn't mind a much more gradual build up over the song - but that's a matter of personal taste.
Very nice Mora! 😃

Gracias Chris!
The sense of things is what makes us learn to handle situations, when what surrounds us does not make sense, we learn to do karate movements without knowing what they are for.

Great video and lyric and the music and production is superb. I was drawn in by the intro, which had a stronger melody than I am used to hearing from you. Then you shot the melody in the head at 25 seconds lol. I found myself wishing you had developed it further or returned to it. I get the point of the drumbeat, relating to the Tarzan theme, and I still enjoyed the whole production.

I think the child's eye comes through well. It is fascinating and entertaining. I totally relate to the Tarzan call. My brother and I used to practice this when we were children. As always, I love the video.
