Brothers in Arms cover

I wanted to share this cover which was done with backing tracks and kept the bass and drums. My friend put the keys on and I did the guitar and singing. It was a nice fun project to try. Hope it's enjoyed if you like the song.

Very good cover! Cool vocals and guitar work. I'd never heard the original, so this was my first time hearing the song. Nice work!
Cheers,
Joseph

You're welcome! Yes, I'm familiar with the four or five hit singles by Dire Straits that were routinely played on US radio from the late 70s to mid 80s. Those were good songs. I definitely recall the album title 'Brothers in Arms', but the title track itself wasn't played on US radio and I didn't buy the album, so I'd never heard it. Anyway, nice work on the cover! I'll check out the original soon for comparison.

A good version of a great song. You did a nice job of the vocals and guitars. For me, creating covers is all about putting your own stamp on them which you've done nicely here. Great stuff.😀

I enjoyed that! Nice to hear a classic again. You've got that guitar tone down very nicely.

As a band lab user myself. I don't understand how you have more likes 10 than plays 7. I have songs with 2k plays and 100s of likes. At least you can sing in key. I like your voice. Would like to hear some range.

I think people like-fish, a term i invented just now, so you see they liked your stuff and you might follow or something. Thanks for the listen and your like of my voice. I'll comment a few times and post something else, maybe another cover.
