I smiled througout this whole song. Love it! You're right. It's one big cosmic joke and we should all take it lightly. I love the line, "we're all illegals except Native America Sioux." I paid demo singers for 20 years to sing my songs
You will never get a song on radio is my conclusion
So I figured out songwriting and talk sing them myself
If I'm lucky I might out live Robots and AI
But I doubt it
Here's my other conclusion you can sing like Whitney Houston , but if the song is no brighter then a worn out neon light
Then it does not impress me along with robots

There’s a certain user here that shows up and takes shots at people’s singing abilities, and usually not in a very graceful way. I find this neither constructive nor positive. The people here are generally good natured and just want to have their art heard by fellow minded, mostly NON PROFESSIONAL creative folks. I, personally just work with what I have- I have no access to better singers that want to sing my stuff and frankly, my words, my music, my feel for the phrasing is all a part of the package- shortcomings (of which I am fully aware of) and all. Every artist has limitations and strengths, even the greats. I appreciate good singing, and I appreciate good songwriting and performance. Sometimes the former elevates and informs the latter, and vice versa. Truly honest and helpful listeners and critics realize this.
Elvis, your singing is just fine. Your songs are informed by the delivery and timbre of your voice. It’s all part of the package. Keep rockin’ my friend.0 -
