Escaping from horizons full of mistakes

Since I was little I loved to read, I read my parents' books hidden in the bathroom and at school I got the first prizes not for knowledge but for the prizes that consisted of lots of wonderful books, stories, thoughts, essays, everything was great. for my eyes!!! I would have been between 7 and 8 years old when I wrote my first story in a small notebook with squared sheets. My life clung to words, thus creating a world to my measure.

I spent a lot of time alone, my parents traveled a lot and depending on the time, (school or vacation) I stayed at home with the nanny or in a residence...

I don't know why I'm telling you this but... this song has made me remember an adventure I wrote about a ship that was alive and fell in love with the moon and instead of sailing it wanted to fly hahaha So here is this song that doesn't have nothing to see but it does have a boat!!

(Sorry for my accent)

I am a boat

that has to scape

from horizons

full of mistakes

from horizons

full of mistakes

I am a paper

I am a pencil

I am the void

I am the feeler

filling my ink

I am the feeler

filling my ink

I am a boat

looking for seas

that cut the distance

from unnamed stars x2

I am

my time

I am

a moment

for Universe x2

But then

what will I be

where will they go

my dreams

my words

my thoughts,

my essence x2

I am a boat

that has to scape

from horizons

full of mistakes

from horizons

full of mistakes

I am a paper

I am a pencil

I am the voidddddd

I am the feeler

filling my ink

  • @MoraAmaroLaLoba Your new song has a nice vibe and it flows well. Your lyrics are intriguing and your vocals are great as usual! The production sound quality is crystal clear. Your video is cool, too! I enjoyed watching and listening. Nice work! I also liked reading your story about your enjoyment of reading and writing when you were a child, and your tale of the ship that fell in love with the moon! Amusing! 😎

Regarding your lyrics, I think my favorite lines are:

    But then
    what will I be
    where will they go
    my dreams
    my words
    my thoughts,
    my essence

    I want you're childhood Mora

Very progressive track , each song gets better

I also know what I'm talking about , I had a perfect childhood , Graduated for Julliard at 17 years old , On a whim bought lottery ticket , I won 2 billion , So I'm a expert on all facets of life

  • Hi @MoraAmaroLaLoba

I love the vocal effects and those pitched synths. The soundscape on this one is marvellous and the synths really steal the show - though I suspect 1 of them is a synth'd up guitar?

A lovely flow to this. It weaves with the vocals and instruments bouncing off of each other very effectively. The lyrics are intriguing and evocative I feel of a certain world and certainty we create in isolation. A oneness with our existence and it's contents.

    Great work,

    CCB

No sé...Many times your caustic sense of humor leaves me perplexed, I don't know when you are serious or not, although it doesn't matter, it would sound the same either way hahaha

I can't complain about my childhood, I am the way I am thanks to it. When my parents traveled I could enjoy like a dog with the dogs in the house and feel accompanied by a ghost that at night would go by my side to my room and disappear at the door...

But, during one of those trips, a relative came to keep me company... and he was "too affectionate", you understand me?

Would the dogs help me? Ghost? the babysitter who didn't know anything because she was always on the phone?

    Stay well rich or poor!!

  • Another great track Mora. I don't usually like autotune type fx but it works really well on this track. I love the video to this one too. Great stuff.😀

  • I love the way the song flows along. It's has such a nice feel. Intriguing lyrics that make me think. I love that! Excellent all around.

I enjoyed your liner notes. I'm so impressed that you wrote a story at 7 or 8. The story about the moon is super creative. The idea that it wants to fly instead of sail is awesome.
