Letter to my daughter

I had originally posted this back in january.
I re-worked it and put it into suno 4.5,
it's a lot better than the original
Words Me; Music Suno 4.5
https://suno.com/s/YZVLigIgiHivVFFz
The bridge and outro are the words in the letter my late sister sent to her daughter
[Verse 1]
Alone, I lay here lost in thought
My mind labored with emotions
Your photo is held to my heart
My only child, my love and devotion
[Chorus]
I’m struggling to write
Never knowing what to say
In words, true feelings
In these, my final days
[Verse 2]
If you are reading this now,
Then my time has come to a close
My struggles are ultimately over
These are the final words I chose
[Bridge]
Please hold these words to heart,
And take them for what they are
And remember, I'll always be close
As you are my bright and shiny star
[Outro]
[Strong, Spoken]
When I die, give what's left of me away
And if you need to cry, use those tears for others
When you need me, put your arms around someone in need
And give them what you need from me.
I want to leave you somethin better than words
Or sounds, Look for me in people I've known or loved

@sidshovel - Thanks. I still can't comprehend what it took for her to write that.

Just wow Bill. What a song.
And what a strong woman your sister must have been.

@RainyDayMan . Thanks Owen, really appreciate it. She was. quick wit also. And a prolific writer, unfortunately none of it still exists ...

I need a tissue right now. Wow. I wasn't expecting this and need a minute to gather my thoughts.
My condolences to your niece and loved ones. It is a beautiful sad tribute, and it's amazing how you made it into a song.
I love songs that bring out emotions, whether, happy, sad, inspirational, etc. This song does it all.
I know your sister and niece are proud.
Well done. Awesome!

Thanks tammy, my sister was a prolific writer in her own right. so not surprising she would pen this. I really didn't have to do much

@bhengen No words. Just heartfelt and sincere and REAL songs are simply the best tho' they be of death. So sorry for the loss of your sister. May she be resting in peace, a celestial star. And may your sister be listening, now as I am. And how is your sister's daughter doing these days?
And your sister still exists through your heart, Bill..
Love the spoken ending..
Stellar Song!

@HummerWisdom - Thanks. My niece is ok from last I spoke. The outro are actual words my sister used in her letter to my niece. again, I can't imagine how difficult that had to be for her. Knowing that your time on this planet is nearing its' end and able to pen then eloquently. My sister had a way with words. She was a very prolific writer. Unfortunately, none of what she wrote still exists. She also had a way of saying something derogatory, without you realizing until moments later :).. We were heading down to the beach. I had written a short story. Her response was - you're becoming a wit and is 1/2 there. .took me a good 15 mins to realize she had just called me a 1/2 wit. I started laughing, and she replied OMG, it took you this long :).. Fun times :)

@bhengen Bill, always great to share a sweet story. Your sister sounds like she was a wonderful person to hang out with! And you know what they say about only the good......

From the sound of it, you not only used version 4.5, but you also utilized the "meta version" feature. This is absolutely head and shoulders above what SUNO was doing four short weeks ago. Your lyric is fantastic also.

@Hardtwistmusic - thank for the comment.. did not know about the meta version. option. i just have it set to 4.5 beta pro version.

I'm not sure, but I THINK you can set it to "pro version" and also use the Meta feature. I think I accidentally did that once when 'covering' an older song and updating it. Not totally sure of that.
