Congratulations

Lyrics: Tammy B

Composed by: Suno (It took me over 100 samples to compose). *exhausted*

YouTube link: Congratulations

[verse 1]

I can’t explain my heart’s joy

My baby is all grown up

I remember the first night

I brought her home in the winter sleet.

Examining her beauty from her head to her feet.

Her skin glowing

I couldn’t believe she was mine

Fast forward years later

My Baby is graduating

Oh what an honor

Here’s a tribute to my daughter

[Pre-Chorus]

Congratulations, you’re own your way

It was a rollercoaster ride

But now it’s time to celebrate

All your hard work

And your worth

Congratulations!

[Chorus]

I’m a proud Mama

Watching you walk across the stage

I’m standing in the crowd

Cheering loud

Look around

I’m a proud mama

Look at you now

You’re here and you didn’t let anyone

Hold you down

Turn you around

Congratulations!

[verse 2]

Today is your day

No looking back

The memorable journey

The dedication

Determination

You stayed the course

Motivation

Fact check!

You did that!

Congratulations!

[solo]

[verse 3]

When you began your walk

It seemed long

Didn’t know if you would finish

You pushed through

Peer pressure

stood strong

And now, you’re here

Dressed in your cap and gown

Looking more beautiful than ever

Imagine that,

Always had your back

And now I can say…

[Chorus]

I’m a proud Mama

Watching you walk across the stage

I’m standing in the crowd

Cheering loud

Look around

I’m a proud mama

Look at you now

You’re here and you didn’t let anyone

Hold you down

Turn you around

Congratulations!

[outro]

Congratulations

I’m so proud

I’m a proud Mama

Standing in the crowd

Look around

Congratulations

That's a good song Tammy, well done.

    Enjoyed that, excellent.

  • Really cool lyrics. you could use this in a spoken word poetry contest.. your writing is very expressive

  • That's a very polished sound. Do you mean it took 100 tries on Suno to get this particular track? Or that you generated 100 tracks and took samples from different ones? Either way that's a big commitment! But Congratulations! It turned out very fine indeed.

I think any parent is going to vibe with this, and especially mothers. It's full of pride and warmth and love.

    Very cool.

    Thank you all!

@sidshovel - I appreciate you and thanks for listening.

@bhengen - Thank you. I love storytelling and I write poetry too.

@RainyDayMan - Thank you. Yes, a few of my songs took over 100 tries to generate. I only have 190 credits in Suno from 2500. I've written seven songs within ten days. I can write a song in 15 to 20 minutes, but the composing takes forever. I'm very new to Suno and songwriting, but not new to writing poetry.

  • Wow, that was not the musical treatment I expected when I read the lyric. It works for me, though. "I'm a proud mama" is a nice hook. That's the line I remember after listening. Simple lines are often the best, especially when expressing an emotion.

I like songs written for one's children. A different kind of love song. I've written songs for my both my daughters. Congratulations to yours!

Well it's only 10 bucks a month . production songs with live players are 50 times more for one song .

So its a deal of the 21st century

    Cute song on your daughter

@ElvisNash - I agree about the price (I paid for a full year/$8 month). In fact, I couldn't find anyone to produce my songs. I'm grateful that I found Suno, because I can write until my heart stops.

Thank you and thanks for listening!

I would not pay for fully produced songs by humans , unless you want get the stress and competition of the real market place . What ever that means in 2025 . You get in a comparison contest with radio hits . I'm not sure that's a good place to be really . it's probably better to play on Suno for a penney a song and drink tea lol

@ElvisNash - I appreciate your wisdom. I'm learning a lot from you about Suno and the market.

Thanks for the heads up and sharing.
