I liked this song, wonder what it might sound slightly faster. Liked the depth to it, would have liked a bit more of a guitar solo, just to take me out a bit then bring me back again. Could be one of them songs that's a grower .

They've never done anything for me... and NEVER, EVER WILL.
Again, screw them and the BS they pedal. Just write from the heart and never mind those "hit writers". They don't even know you are alive...and if they do, then I will ask again...what have they ever done for you?
Thanks for listening and commenting, Katie. I kept this very simple..... I'm not a production wonk (I wish I was). I do hear a pretty cool guitar solo in there, but it was time to move on to the next song.

What have hit writers done for me . Knowledge on how to craft a song , Basically collage . You have to listen to someone , Relax . Hit writers have their own problems placing songs , on an ever changing climate in Nashville . I just chatted with Brent Baxter , he still pitches our songs. it probably be a miracle theses days . I don't stress over it much . I am stressed over my producer sending vocals over a song yesterday , He's a bit flaky sometimes lol , Well typical music guy , if ya like cliches, We do have a few laughs joking about political songs. Man I'm not writing them , I got enough stress lol

Gotta agree with you there, Elvis. Too many political songs, especially by amateurs like us, are just belly-aching or preaching. Good political songs don't just comment on the state of the world. They arouse a feeling of injustice and often have a call to action. They probably also have a really catchy chorus. Either that or make you laugh.

Do you actually believe that MY participation or non participation in A.I. will have some effect or impact? My participation in, or boycott of A.I. will have ZERO impact. There would be tremendous Hubris in any belief by me that the world is waiting on ME to decide and then will make up it's mind after I do. I'm not willing to allow the fear of a "devil" who might, or might not exist to decide whether to use a tool or not. In the end, I will be the one deciding for me. AND. . . in the end, my decision will affect nothing and no one of any importance.

I don't believe your use of AI will save or destroy the world. Just as feeding a bon fire a single twig will register a difference.

Thats exactly what I did after so many years studying with Hit writers , it clicked and wrote on my own or with co-writers
Well back to your song , it does a good job conveying a message
Keep writing political songs Tom , less competition for me , little humor in a dark world , everybody's claiming it is . Were all doomed mindset

Songs, like mine, are written to spark debate....to bring awareness to those who don't take part in the great circle of political and social life.
And I'm way past competing with other people. If I was, I'd be endeavoring to produce my songs much, much better. I write them and move on. There's no rehearsing... I' don't play for anyone... I'm a closet singer / songwriter. Only my immediate family knows I write and post songs. All the players in my youth are long gone and have disappeared.
And I can incorporate humor in my political songs....

Good songs?... most are. But that really doesn't mean much. I want to know if they are liked. And I have no problem if they like your songs as well...or, even better! 😉

I promote on Youtube , forums are just a past time . That and yelling at men , get this job done right , or your fired , Which sometimes the ornery contractor bleeds in to songs lol . I also baby sit bosses. We're installing a huge recording studio right now , 100k in toys , pro tools all that jazz . Don't mix up the 2 hats , construction and music . note to self

For what it's worth...your lyrics are good. In fact, ALL your lyrics make good sense and are comprehensible. The problem with writing, is it can make sense to the author, but does it make sense to everyone else?
Yours do! Continue on and strive to get better and better. And don't let anyone fool you... the topic is VERY important. It's easy to write about "anything" or "nothing"
