Wild Man

She gave birth to him in a Yellow cab
She wrapped him up with a coat she had
With a dark far away look in his eyes
Like his daddy he'll never change
Its no surprise he turned out this way
He was born a quiet boy
He'll go out a wild man
Destined to raise hell
Under a black rimmed hat
His silence rings true
Sips Tequila from a glass
Some say he's crazy -
some'll never understand
How a quiet boy
Will go out a wild man
How a quiet boy
Will go out a wild man
He married a girl who loved him once
But she left cuz he lives on impluse
He told the preacher you talk to much
Bad ass outlaws are never satisfied
Always one step from a fast goodbye
He was born a quiet boy
He'll go out a wild man
Destined to raise hell
Under a black rimmed hat
His silence rings true
Sips Tequila from a glass
Some say he's crazy
some'll never understand
How a quiet boy
Will go out a wild man
How a quiet boy
Will go out a wild man
Now He lives to extremes
On the trail of a ghost
Burns like kerosene
If you get too close
He was born a quiet boy
He'll go out a wild man
Destined to raise hell
Under a black rimmed hat
His silence rings true
Sips Tequila from a glass
Some say he's crazy
like crazy Elvis Nash
How a quiet boy
How a quiet boy
Will go out a wild man
A Wild man

Very engaging music, good vocals, and a cool song. I like the way the song builds in sections, and the harmonies with the female vocalist in sections. Nice work! I enjoyed listening! Would fit well on modern country radio.

sounds great! really like your voice and the vocals overall are very well done. i like the stutter-step (if that's the way to describe it) way the chords/beat changes in the verse starting around 1:30.
where/how was this recorded? sounds professional on my system. very well done. look forward to hearing more songs!

It's a good song. Very polished and appealing. The rhythm of the verse is quite intriguing.
This is obviously a finished product, so you won't be making changes at this point. I would have liked the last chorus to go all out. ie start with the soft "quiet" chorus and end with the "wild" one, before perhaps finishing with a quiet outro.
It might have been nice to have some lyrical explanation of the change from quiet boy to wild man. As is, it's the way he was born, "Like his daddy", which is fine, but seems like a missed opportunity to develop the story over the song.
But overall, very strong.

That was recorded in Nashville , I usually write the melody, But that was written by a pro writer on the music Peter Salis maybe 8 years ago , I decided to sing it myself and drop it to a F . Mason another pro made the tracks more 2023 on melody. I sing it here in California , Bounce it back to Mason , He adds the harmony and mixes it . I go to studios , I don't mess with pro tools
Thanks alot for listening
